Crash Course + Both Schools

- All sales are final (Terms, section 2). One exception: if we cancel the course, you get back the course part of the price, not the practice part, and we offer you a place in a later course where one exists (Terms, section 8). If you live in the EU and buy as a consumer, the mandatory consumer law of your country also protects you (Terms, section 12).
What's included
More information
A live course on every part of both exams, plus Semmelweis + Debrecen Prep. In 16 hours for all parts, the course gives the key points of each part, with test-style questions. It is not a full textbook course.
Planned for January 2027, so it ends before the first exams we expect in February 2027 (based on the 2026 dates; Semmelweis has not published its 2027 dates yet). Debrecen publishes no exam dates, so check yours before you buy. Session days and times are emailed before the course starts. We can move a session to another day (Terms, section 8).
8 live sessions of 2 hours over 4 weeks, online by video call, in English. At most 15 students. Every session is recorded. You keep the recordings until the 2027 season ends, after the last exam date for 2027/28 entry at Semmelweis or Debrecen.
The course covers every part of both exams: biology, chemistry, Debrecen physics, the two Semmelweis English tests, the orals, and the timing and scoring of each exam. Mock oral questions in class, for the Semmelweis interview and the Debrecen oral.
Applicants to Semmelweis and Debrecen only. It also suits you if you learn better live than alone.
Semmelweis + Debrecen Prep is included: biology and chemistry practice for both schools, every question explained. Practice covers biology and chemistry multiple choice only. It has no questions for the Semmelweis English tests or Debrecen physics. It does not simulate the orals or Debrecen's written tasks.
When practice opens, you sign in at app.hungarymedprep.com with the email you used at checkout. We send a one-time code to it, so there is no password. Practice runs in a web browser. Each account is for one student.

Before you buy the Crash Course
What does the Crash Course include?
Three things, in one payment: the 8 live sessions (16 hours in all), the recordings, and Semmelweis + Debrecen Prep, our biology and chemistry practice for both schools.
Does it cover the oral and the English tests?
Yes. The classes cover the orals at both schools, with mock oral questions. They also cover Debrecen physics and the two Semmelweis English tests. Practice is different: practice covers biology and chemistry multiple choice only. It has no questions for the Semmelweis English tests or Debrecen physics. It does not simulate the orals or Debrecen's written tasks.
How are the two exams scored?
The course covers both. Here is what each school says.
- Semmelweis: A correct answer is worth one point. A wrong answer loses part of a point, but the university does not say how much. No pass mark is published. Your score alone does not decide. A committee looks at the tests, the interview, your school grades, your motivation and your spoken English. It also weighs the university's own aims, such as diversity and gender balance.
- Debrecen: Scores are for internal use only, and you are not told yours. The university looks at your overall performance. There are four outcomes: a first-year place, a place on the Basic Medicine Course (a preparatory course), rejection, or an offer of a different programme.
